Hello, friends!
You know those Featured Seller interviews on Etsy? I love reading them, but a lot of times I like to skip ahead to the end where they ask about favorite movies, shows, books, websites, etc. Does anyone else do that? If so, this post is for you because I want you to share with us your favorite movies, shows, books, and websites of the moment (or even all-time). For a lot of us, it's too hot to spend much time outdoors right now, but a trip to the library or video store is probably do-able and maybe not even necessary with sites like Hulu, Netflix and Amazon...
Here's hoping your AC is fulfilling its purpose!

Hi Katie! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who skips to the end of those interviews to see the faves! I'll share my all-time favorite movie. It's a little known film from 1994 entitled "A Foreign Field" - about a motley assortment of people, American and British, who return to Normandy 50 years after the invasion. Cast includes Alec Guinness, Lauren Bacall, Jean Moreau and Geraldine Chaplin. The ending makes me cry every time.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's a song that does the same thing; I get teary every time I hear Johnny Cash sing "Sunday Morning Comin' Down."
Anybody else weep over that one?
Well I shall just tell you some of my favourite books because I do adore them.
ReplyDeleteThe Catcher in the Rye, (I also love Franny and Zooey),
Jonathan Livingston Seagull,
The Grapes of Wrath,
A Moveable Feast,
Romeo and Juliet,
Pride and Prejudice,
Perfume (Patrick Suskind)
I could go on but they are top of the list! :)
WOW!!
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY go to the End of the Interview to see what's what and who's who on their Fav's!! Not quite like reading the end of a book first, but kind of....
