vintage beaded fruit from whichgoosecoYou can't tell me you're surprised to find yet another food-inspired post from me. Maybe it would help to know that I spent my early adult years working in a professional kitchen. There was a time I thought I might like to pursue a career in the art of pastry as an outlet for creativity, but for a variety of reasons, decided another path should be taken instead. Leaving was definitely the right decision, but the kitchen's influence remains. I guess you can take the girl out of the kitchen, but you just can't take the kitchen out of the girl.
